James Puissant started his career at Baird in 2022. Prior to working in the investment industry, he worked in business and litigation consulting where he advised corporations on financial damages and provided expert witness and forensic accounting services. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in both accounting and finance. James furthered his education in the following years, earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and his Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) accreditation, while also obtaining his series 7 and series 66 securities licenses.
James, a native of Green Bay, enjoys golfing, marathon running, biking, and spending time outdoors. He is also a Board Member of the First Tee of Northeast WI, a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development through the game of golf. He chairs the finance committee for the organization. James resides in De Pere with his wife, Hannah, and children.
